Kinja'd!!!

I’m trying to work on a post that will hit on October, but the drop down calendar menu is klangfarbened, and I can’t get to October. Anybody else? Bueller? Bueller?

Meanwhile I can never even get a post to schedule properly. No matter what time you set it for it just pops up immediately.

Can you manually type in the date?

Nope. You can with the time, but not the date. It just makes the calendar pop up.

This is the first issue I’ve ever had with future posts. I blame the Black Bar™.

September is just too damn long. Found a workaround:

Click the grey 1 indicating October first. Click off the calendar to close it. Next time you open it, it will be in October.

You’re not getting a blinking cursor on the date-stamp?

The month selection arrows are borked for me too, but I’m able to use manual entry to work around it.

Open calendar. CLick on 10/1. Then, click on the date box and manually edit the date. Just worked for me on Chrome

I’ll have to give it a shot.

Well this is a real conundru.

Okay, that works. I didn’t realize that you could click the date field after the calendar pop up had opened. Thanks.

Just made an edit to my first reply. Not so bad now.

No, not too bad. I didn’t realize that I could click in the date field after the calendar had popped up. Thanks.

Hey - we’re aware of this and are working on a fix as we speak, thanks for the heads-up!

Thanks, Steve. I discovered that I can type the date in, so there’s that workaround. I appreciate your hard work. People like to rag on Kinja, but it has allowed me to create almost 2 years of aviation history posts, and the editor is rock solid. I couldn’t have done this pre-Kinja.
